SkipDeep Terms of Service

What SkipDeep is

SkipDeep looks up information about people, such as names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, relatives, associates and property records, from third-party data sources and public records. You can search one person at a time, or upload a spreadsheet and have every row searched.

Your membership and billing

A SkipDeep membership costs $59.95 a month, or the price shown when you join, and includes 100 skips each month. Included skips don't carry over to the next month.

Extra skips cost $0.30 each and are always paid for in advance: you buy them in packs, or turn on auto-refill, which buys a pack when your skips run out. Purchased skips don't expire while your membership is active. They lapse 90 days after your membership ends.

Your membership renews every month on the same day, charged to the card on file, until you cancel. If a renewal is declined, we try again over the following days and email you each time. Searching pauses until the payment goes through, and if it still can't be charged, the membership ends.

Charges show as USLEADLIST on your card statement.

We may change prices. We will email the account owner at least 30 days before a new membership price applies to them.

What uses a skip

A person search that finds at least one person uses 1 skip. A search that finds no one is free and isn't saved. Reopening a saved search is free, and so is the same search by anyone on your account within 30 days, unless you ask for a fresh one.

In a bulk file, each row we return at least one phone number for uses 1 skip. Rows we can't match are free. If a file needs more skips than you have, the rest are charged to your card at the extra-skip price, only for rows we match.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time in Billing. Your membership and skips last until the end of the month you paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't give refunds or credits for partial months, unused skips or purchased skips, and skips have no cash value. We always refund billing mistakes. Teams

An account's owner can invite others to the account (up to 5 people in all, unless we agree otherwise). Everyone on the account searches from its shared skips. The owner is responsible for the account's charges and for the people they invite, and can set limits on each person's skips or remove anyone. Each person must agree to these terms for themselves.

What you may use it for

You may use SkipDeep, and anything it finds, only to locate and contact property owners, heirs, their families and their representatives for lawful business purposes, such as buying, selling or managing real estate or helping settle an estate.

If a result includes information protected by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act or the Driver's Privacy Protection Act, you may use it only for a purpose those laws allow.

What you may not use it for

You may not use SkipDeep, or any result, for any of these:

• Any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or a similar law, including deciding anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or a tenancy, or screening tenants or job applicants. SkipDeep is not a consumer reporting agency, and its results are not consumer reports.
• Stalking, harassing, threatening or intimidating anyone, or finding someone for a personal reason against their wishes.
• Discriminating against anyone unlawfully.
• Anything that breaks a law, including privacy, consumer protection and anti-spam laws.
• Reselling, publishing, sharing or giving results to anyone else, except your own employees or agents who need them for a permitted use and follow these terms.
• Sharing your login, or letting anyone else use it. Invite them to your account instead.
• Running searches or copying results with automated tools, except through the features SkipDeep provides.

Contacting people

You are responsible for following every law that applies when you call, text, email or mail anyone you find, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the National Do Not Call Registry, state do-not-call and telemarketing laws, the CAN-SPAM Act and state privacy laws.

SkipDeep does not check numbers against do-not-call lists, and it doesn't tell you whether you have consent to call or text anyone. Check both yourself before you reach out.

Accuracy

Results come from third-party sources and public records and are provided "as is" and "as available". They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and may mix up people with similar names. Check any information before you rely on it. We do not guarantee any result.

Logging, audits and suspension

We log every search: who ran it, what was searched, when, and from what IP address and browser. We record your agreement to these terms the same way.

We may review these records to check that SkipDeep is used properly, and we may share them with our data providers, or with the authorities when the law requires it or to protect someone.

We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe you have broken these terms. If we end a membership without cause, we will refund the unused part of the month you paid for.

Your login

You are responsible for everything done under your login. Keep your password private, and tell us right away at support@usleadlist.com if you think someone else has used it. If you also use USLeadList, the same login and password work on both, and changing your password on one changes it on the other.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SkipDeep, USLeadList and its data providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from SkipDeep or any result. Our total liability for any claim about SkipDeep is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Your responsibility for claims

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless SkipDeep, USLeadList, its owners, employees and data providers from any claim, loss, fine or cost, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arises from your use of SkipDeep or its results, including any claim that you broke these terms or a law such as the TCPA or the FCRA.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new date, and you will be asked to agree to it before your next search. If you don't agree, stop using SkipDeep and cancel your membership.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or SkipDeep will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
